Kwara Govt. begins screening staff of TSC, SUBEB, others
Teaching Service Commission
Kwara Government on Monday began the screening of staff of the state Teaching Service Commission (TSC), the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), and the Local Government Service Commission.

The Speaker, Kwara House of Assembly, Yakubu Danladi, while addressing civil servants at the commencement of the exercise at the state secretariat, Ilorin, urged them to imbibe the spirit of dedication.

He admonished the employees to be sincere and to display a high sense of cooperation during the course of the exercise for the sake of posterity.

“We are aware of schools with single teacher and those with none, if you lie in defence of anybody, it is at your own peril,” he said.
“By this exercise, we will not only be saving public resources, it will also create window for employment into the civil service;
“It will ensure we have adequate human resources that will deliver quality education in our schools,” he said.
Nigeria News Agency reports that the exercise, which is expected to end on Friday, is aimed at blocking financial leakages in the state and at mopping up resources for public interests.
