Kuje, Abuja – Na wah, my people! As we dey talk now, Emmanuel Kanu, wey be di younger broda of Nnamdi Kanu, don enter Kuje prison, alongside im lawyer Aloy Ejimakor, after dem catch dem during one protest wey no gree calm down for Abuja. Dis drama happen on October 21, 2025, after police waka enter di scene. Na only God sabi wetin dem bin dey plan! (Na so e be for Naija, my guy)
Di protest wey get plenty people wey dey shout for di release of Nnamdi Kanu, di leader of di Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), catch fire on Monday, but di police no find am funny at all. As dem dey shout for Nnamdi Kanu wey dey face plenty charges like treason and wahala like dat, na so police come bring di teargas and scatter dem!
According to di police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, dem arrest Emmanuel Kanu and Aloy Ejimakor because dem disobey court order wey say make dem no protest. Omo! As dem catch dem, di police claim say 12 people end up for their prison net, all wey dey cause ‘disturbance’ for di public. And dey no fit jam dem on top road! (Chai, Naija police sabi carry matter too far)
Nnaemeka Ejiofor, wey dey represent Nnamdi Kanu, don confirm say dem don file motion to let dem go, but di Magistrate no gree hear words. E just talk say, ‘You go stay for prison till Friday!’ Dis no be di first time dem dey bypass other courts to come settle for Kuje, and e dey raise eyebrows.
When di protest happen, di usual suspects like Omoyele Sowore lead di charge, but when di police com dey fire teargas, dem scatter plenty people. One padi wey dey protest even talk say, ‘When we regather, we no see Fine Boy and Ejimakor again.’ Na dem dem dey call Emmanuel Kanu.
Expression of frustration dey everywhere as Amnesty International don jump on di matter, dey call out di government for trying to silence peaceful voices. Dem dey shout say di move to remand dem be one kind serious mockery of democracy. E no suppose be so! The whole thing just dey make sense like wetin dem go fit cook for Jollof rice. (Who go tell dem say tension no dey sweet?)
So, we go dey watch as di matter dey develop, because as dem don secures dem in Kuje prison, it no go quiet like dat. How di case go turn out? Na only time go tell.
