Koloa Rum Company Joins Purdue University Athletics as Official Partner

New Partnership Brings Signature Rums and Sparkling Cocktails to Fans

KALAHEO — Koloa Rum Company is teaming with Purdue University Athletics as an official partner, said Koloa Rum Company President and CEO Bob Gunter. The partnership means that supporters of Purdue University’s athletic teams can find signature rums, including Koloa Rum, White, Coffee, Spice and Coconut rums, in the Spurgeon Club during every home game.

In addition to the signature rums, Koloa Rum’s Sparkling Hawaiian Canned Cocktails will be poured throughout the concourse, offering fans additional beverage options at home games. Featuring all-natural Hawaiian blends, including the premium Koloa Kaua‘i White Rum, Boilermaker fans can enjoy the island flavors of Kaua‘i, such as guava, mango, pineapple, and coconut for a bubbly and refreshing taste in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Sharing the Spirit of Aloha

“Partnering with Purdue University, and being their rum of choice for sporting events, is an exciting opportunity for us to share The Spirit of Aloha with friends and fans of the Boilermakers,” Gunter said. This partnership is even more special as Koloa Rum was looking for ways to distribute in Indiana when a couple of his employees who graduated from Purdue offered to make some phone calls.
