Kim Kardashian Accuses Ex-Husband Kanye West of Spreading Damaging Rumors

Kim Kardashian has accused her ex-husband Kanye West, popularly known as Ye, of spreading one of the most damaging rumors about her throughout their marriage. On the season premiere of “The Kardashians”, the reality TV star revealed that Ye was the one who started the rumor that she was having an affair with Drake.

Despite being the one Kim expected to protect her, he publicly accused her of infidelity throughout their marriage, leaving her emotionally distraught. Kardashian, during the episode, expressed her frustration over Ye’s actions and questioned his position as her protector.

The rumored affair between Drake and Kardashian first surfaced in 2018. The reality TV star was quick to address the allegations by responding publicly and denying the rumors. Ye also brought up the rumors in November 2021 during his appearance on the “Drink Champs” podcast.

Kardashian, who was emotional about the issue, further said she doesn’t know what to do with her ex-husband anymore and doesn’t want to be a part of the narrative. She lamented the effect of Ye’s actions on their children and revealed that she has to remain silent about the situation for their sake.

“All of his shenanigans ― I don’t even know what to call it ― is gonna be far more damaging to the kids one day than my tape will ever be,” Kardashian said, breaking down in tears on the episode.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s marriage officially ended in February 2021 after seven years. The former couple shares four children.

Kim and her family are known for their reality TV show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” which has been on the air since 2007. The show has chronicled the family’s lives and the drama that comes with being one of the most famous families in the world.

The latest season of the show is the last and started airing on March 18, 2022.
