But una no go believe say dem refuse to use Ka’iana red-mouthed weapons (na guns o) wey him don bring. How dem wan fight Ke’kua of Hawai’i (Cliff Curtis) and Kahekili of Maui (Temuera Morrison) without am? E be like say na so dem dey enter wahala by themselves, no be small.
As wahala dey hot, Kamehameha back him cousin Ke’kua, and Na hi (Siua Ikale’o), Ka’iana younger brother, just lose him life in the process. Dat one just sharp pain for Ka’iana’s side, and now, him dey ready for serious revenge as we dey enter the finale wey dey come this Friday. Na real this one sha, how dem go wahala like this?
Chief of War suppose be limited series, but Momoa and him friend Thomas Pa’a Sibbett decide say e go make sense to open the story pass like dem plan. Na serious drama but e dey make sense as dem wan keep audience for edge. They say Nahi had to die for more emotional wave. You sef go vex, because na in him death we go see the real fight start.
People wey work for the show no fit keep calm once dem hear Nahi go kick the bucket. Sibbett remember say crew dey shout, ‘Why you go do this? Save Nahi!’ Omo, you see wetin dey happen when story too sweet!
Ikale’o wey be Na hi, already sabi say him character fit die before he join. E don plan say him go use him acting to push the story forward qualify well. Na him Nahi dey always look for place to belong and now him don meet Heke (Mainei Kinimaka), and that one make am sweet. But just when you think say love go save am, wahala plug: Ke’kua invade!
Nahi end up for fighting destiny no be small as Ke’kua give am beating wey even Heke no fit watch. This one dey enter drama like traditional wedding.
In the big finale, expect plenty wahala as Ka’iana prepare to face Ke’kua again. This time, him dey channel all the pain wey dey disturb him mind to fight back!
Morrison wey act Ke’kua don really put in work to honor dis character. According to am, his role na to show traditional values wey dey waka with royal blood. He no wan mishandle history because descendants dey alive.
But, the women get plenty say inside this Chief of War. Kupuohi (Te Ao o Hinepehinga) and Ka’ahumanu (Luciane Buchanan) dey hold down action as them go convince Kamehameha to bring out Ka’iana weapons. E no be love triangle per say, but respect and understanding dey flow amongst the women.
As Momoa dey hope say dem go renew for season two, him talk say even Apple dey feel the show. E no dey carry bad vibes because critics and fans dey praise am. E still dey push people to watch am now now before dem miss out. ‘Dis time, we give am our best,’ na wetin e dey yan.
