Abuja, Nigeria — Breaking news! The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) don drop update wey dey make many padi dem rejoice. Dem don extend the deadline for 2025 admission process for public universities from Friday, 31st October 2025, go Monday, 17th November 2025 (no be small matter oh!).
Dr. Fabian Benjamin, wey be JAMB spokesman, talk say this decision no just come by chance. E relate am to some serious wahala wey don dey happen. E mention say one court order don disrupt admission process, and dem lift am on top October 28, 2025. E seem say the board no wan carry last-minute wahala enter their life, so they shift the deadline to give schools chance to tidy their admissions.
Benjamin also gree say the extension dey help many universities wey dey try meet up with the previous deadline, as dem get many new programmes wey National Universities Commission (NUC) just accredit for 37 universities. For real, dem want to make sure say everybody get fair chance to enter higher education (no be every day we dey see good news, abi?).
“We dey appreciate all the universities for their diligence,” e add, “but make we clear, this new deadline na final one. E no dey change!” We know say this one go sweet many students wey don dey hustle to secure their spot for university, especially those wey dem vex lose their chance before.
On top this matter, JAMB still emphasize say dem dey focus on ensuring admission process wey dey transparent and credible. And as dem maintain say no be any kind wahala go follow dis process, we fit just relax and wait for the school gates to open sharp.
