IPOB insurgents kill 3 Dangote drivers, set bodies ablaze in Imo
NNN: Suspected IPOB insurgents killed a Dangote trailer driver, Saidu Alhassan and two of his assistants, Halliru Mallam and Danjuma Isari, in the Orsu local government area in Imo State.

DAILY NIGERIAN learned that the incident happened on Wednesday as they returned to their base in Obajana, Kogi state, after unloading cement at the Dangote cement depot in Orlu.

Sources said the attackers first ordered them to get out of the vehicle, and after finding out that they were all from the north, shot them dead and set their bodies on fire.

Their bodies were found near the caravan on Thursday, then evacuated to Obajana.
Since the new wave of unrest in the Southeast, security guards, northerners and violators of the sit-at-home order have faced heavy attacks from the outlawed separatist group.
Notably, in May this year, insurgents killed Ahmed Gulak, a former political adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan.
In April, IPOB insurgents opened fire on six vendors from Suya in Orlu and another in Umuaka Njaba.
