Some clients of TAJBank Limited, one of Nigeria‘s leading interest-free banks, congratulated it on receiving the Most Innovative Interest-Free Bank Award.

Customers and other industry stakeholders have linked the award given to TAJBank by Leadership Media Group, well deserved due to its innovative character and the quality of its financial services since its inception.

The Nigerian News Agency reports that Leadership Media Group recently announced that TAJBank wins the “Banker of the Year Award 2020”

The group said that TAJBank won the award due to its pioneering services, innovative products and the remarkable growth recorded across key performance indicators in its financial statements during the year under review.

Regional Director of Business Development, Sigma Alliance Limited, a leading information and technology (IT) company, Ms. Oluwatoyin Abel, recalled her successful banking experiences in the bank, describing her financial services as exceptional.

She said, “I have had the rare privilege of being part of the TAJBank family and witnessed their intention to please customers by providing exceptional service.

“I am very optimistic that this award is the first of many others.

“The bank’s services are very suitable, very up to date. I think I should commend the board and management of TAJBank for the innovation the bank has brought to the country’s banking system.

“The bank’s customer service is superb, I will congratulate the bank on the recognition and hope it consolidates this achievement.”

The Executive Director of Leaders Corporate Services, a brand management and media relations consultancy, Ms. Stella Collins, also congratulated TAJBank on the award.

She described it as “a confirmation of TAJBank as a champion of the new normal in interest-free banking in Nigeria and an unprecedented commitment to user-friendly financial services.”

Another client, Ms Roseline Abari, recalled that she knew the bank from information from its notice boards on payment of tuition fees and other interest-free services and on tax matters.

According to her, the frustrations she experienced with paying her children’s school fees abroad ended when she arrived at TAJBank.

“To my surprise, when I got to TAJBank it only took me two business days to do what I couldn’t do in my old bank at a huge cost in six weeks and I was so amazed .

“In fact, TAJBank’s services are very good and I think they deserve the price based on their customer relationship services and professionalism,” she added.

A financial expert, Mallam Shehu Abdulkadir, said that “TAJBank was recognized everywhere for the excellence of its financial services.

“The Leadership Newspaper award at the bank is well deserved.

“In just over a year of activity, the bank has become a benchmark for innovative products, service delivery and prudent management of investor funds.

“Last year, it recorded the highest earnings per share (EPS) ever recorded in the Nigerian banking sector,” he recalled.
