Awon people! For Anambra State, INEC don throw open registration for ad-hoc staff wey go help run the governorship election wey dey come for November 8, 2025. Na on Monday, September 15, dem start this registration and e go close for October 5, 2025. If you dey ready for this wahala, better start to dey gather your documents.
According to wetin dem talk for their official X handle (no be Twitter o!), dem dey look for Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs), Presiding Officers (POs), Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs), and Ratech persons wey sabi ICT, plus RAC Managers, wey go help organize the election. E be like say dis one go sweet well well for people wey sabi how to manage crowd and gists (because dem go see things wey fit make person laugh sha).
But hold your horses! You no fit just wake up enter this gist. Dem get some criteria wey you must meet. First of all, if you no dey live for Anambra, Delta, Enugu or Imo state, e no go work for you. And if you dey belong to any political party or don show support for any candidate, abeg, carry your gree-gree go elsewhere!
For those wey wan apply as SPOs, dem dey select from people wey dey work for federal public service or other government agencies wey get the right grade level. Meanwhile, POs and APOs fit come from serving NYSC members, INEC staff, or even federal tertiary students wey fit sabi do the work. E dey sound fine, abi? (as if dem no go chop you well after).
INEC don also yarn say make interested candidates sign up online for their web portal or via their Android app. Na only the Ratechs go be INEC ICT staff dem fit apply. So, if you no dey involved with any other election duties, you fit try your luck.
As usual, dem don remind all applicants say make dem read the eligibility rules well before dem go submit their applications. Some people fit just dey rush, like say dem dey run from your papa thunder. Better sabi wetin dey ground before you jump inside this mumu contest!
So, my own advice be say if you fit follow their rules, carry your mind go sign up before the deadline because this election go bring plenty drama (we go dey sharp for all the gist, no worry!). This recruitment no be small matter as dem dey gear up for wetin go happen for Anambra!
