India reports 291 new cases of COVID-19-
– India reported 291 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, up from 343 the previous day.
According to data from the federal Ministry of Health released on Monday morning, the number of active cases currently stands at 5,123.
The South Asian country also recorded two more COVID-19-related deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 530,614 since the start of the pandemic, the data showed.
According to the ministry, a total of 44,136,116 people have been cured and released from hospitals in India. ■
