Make we start with the National Archives wey go host the annual drama reading of the Declaration of Independence on top dia steps. This one go start from 10am, but make you no forget say dem go open shopping tent from 8am, and performances wey fit make your head bust from 9am. Next stop na Mount Vernon for George Washington’s crib. Dem go dey pop daytime fireworks wey dey shine for Potomac River. Admission go cost you $28 for adult, but if you small pikin, you fit enter for as low as $15. You go even see military reenactments and meet General Washington himself. Talk about rubbing shoulders with history! (Flashback to them days, wey dem dey face war and still dey pop champagne.)
No forget about the Washington Nationals and dem baseball game at Nationals Park. Dey go dey play versus the Red Sox for July 4th. And abeg, make you no miss the post-game Freedom Fireworks, dem say e go sweet pass sugar. (Ballpark and fireworks, na so we dey do am for July 4th!)
