Independence day: Police deploy 1500 officers in Kwara

Kwara Police Command deployed 1,500 police officers and women to provide security during the Independence Day celebration in 2021.

This is contained in a statement released by Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) SP Ajayi Okasanmi on Thursday in Ilorin.

Okasanmi said the command is committed to ensuring that the celebration of the 61st anniversary of independence is celebrated peacefully.

“In light of this, the command has put in place a series of statewide security arrangements.
