  Ifako Ijaiye LG impacThe Executive Chairman of Ifako Ijaiye Local Government in Lagos State Prince Usman Hamzat has inaugurated a free Grassroot Health Outreach programme to impact no fewer than 20 000 residents within the stretch of eight months The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the first week of the outreach was taken to strategic areas in Ifako Ijaiye including churches mosques and a community centre While inspecting the programme on Wednesday Hamzat said that 512 residents had been attended to from the health outreach at various religious houses in the community We are offering free health services through the council medical team to religious houses aiming to capture 512 residents in that areas We are at Iju Ogundinmu Street Oba Ogundinmu Palace Iju Central Mosque Iju Ishaga and Dynamic Faith Bible Church 21 Iju Ogundinmu Road Iju on Sunday and our Target is to capture as many as possible he said The council chairman said that the initiative was birthed to celebrate his one year in office in partnership with Ifako Ijaiye Community Advocates Volunteer alongside other strategic partners from the Health sector According to him services offered include blood system diagnosis with blood donation Oxygen and Temperature check NLS Radiographic check for general body system and HIV Test He added that free medical supplements Ilera Eko Health Insurance Scheme Quantum check blood pressure check COVID 19 Vaccination and Immunisation of childrem from 0 month to four years was also part of the gesture to the residents Hamzat said that the second week of the health outreach programme would hold at No 8 Ashabi Taiwo Street Obawole Istijabat Central Mosque Ashabi Taiwo Street Obawole and Pillar of Faith Assembly Church Olushesi Bus Stop Iju Ishaga He said that the team would be given out weekly updates on strategic locations where the medical outreach would take place subsequently The chairman however urged the residents to take good advantages of the health outreach and come out to benefit from the programme NewsSourceCredit NAN
