‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ South Africa reveals all-star cast
First-ever cast revealed
The first-ever cast of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ South Africa was announced on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway on March 25th. Paul Burrell, Carol Vorderman, Jordan Banjo, Shaun Ryder, Helen Flanagan, Fatima Whitbread, Phil Tufnell, Amir Khan and Janice Dickinson confirmed that they would be participating in the highly-anticipated All Stars spin-off via video link during a game of ‘Read My Lips’.
Returning favourites
The All Stars spin-off will feature celebrities who have appeared on the show over the last 20 years. Co-presenter Ant McPartlin teased viewers by stating, “we’ve taken some of your favourite faces from the last 20 years and sent them back into camp, only this time that camp is in South Africa.”
Difficulties in South Africa
Butler to the late Princess Diana, Paul Burrell, revealed that his experience at the South African savanna was more difficult than his experience in the Australian rainforest. He expressed excitement about seeing his fellow celebrities in the camp, stating that “they did not disappoint”.
Why come back? – Phil Tufnell
Phil Tufnell, the King of the Jungle in 2003, stated that he decided to participate in the spin-off as he had such an enjoyable time 20 years ago during the original show. He expressed his excitement about the location of the camp being in “a stunning spot”.
When to watch?
‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! South Africa’ is scheduled to air later this year on ITV1 and ITVX.
