‘Yan Afirka 6 na kamuwa da cutar shanyewar jiki a kowane minti daya, kowane sa’a – Kwararre –
Farfesa Kolawole Wahab na Sashen Magunguna na Jami’ar Ilorin (Unilorin), ya bayyana cewa kimanin ‘yan asalin Afirka shida suna samun sabbin shanyewar jiki a kowane minti na kowane sa’a.


Mista Wahab ya bayyana hakan ne a cikin jawabinsa na takarda a taron farko na Unilorin karo na 230, mai taken: “A cikin Neman Jagora ga bugun jini”.

Ya kara da cewa hukumar lafiya ta duniya WHO ta yi hasashen cewa kashi 80 cikin 100 na dukkan cutar shanyewar jiki za ta faru a kasashe masu tasowa na duniya nan da shekara ta 2030.

A cewarsa, mutane miliyan 110 sun fuskanci bugun jini kuma suna rayuwa tare da tasirin da ka iya haɗa da nakasar jiki mai tsanani.
Don haka, wanda ke koyarwa a tsangayar ilimin kimiya na asibiti, kwalejin kimiyyar lafiya ta jami’ar, ta yi gargadin cewa a bana kadai, mutane miliyan 12.2 ne za su kamu da cutar shanyewar jiki kuma miliyan 6.5 ba za su tsira ba.

Masanin ilimin jijiyoyi ya tabbatar da cewa nauyin bugun jini yana karuwa cikin sauri kuma yana buƙatar kulawa cikin gaggawa saboda yana shafar rukunin shekaru mafi girma a Afirka.
Ya kara da bayyana shanyewar jiki a matsayin farawar kai tsaye ko nakasar jijiya ta duniya wanda ke dade sama da sa’o’i 24 ko kuma ya kai ga mutuwa ba tare da wani dalili ba sai asalin jijiyoyin jini.
“Cutar shanyewar jiki na saurin zama annoba a Najeriya. Babban nauyin cutar kuma yana karuwa ne ta hanyar yawaitar cututtukan da ba a gano su ba, hauhawar hauhawar jini da sauran abubuwan da za a iya daidaita su,” in ji shi.
Mista Wahab ya ba da shawarar a rika cin abinci a kalla sau 12 a kowane mako domin hana hawan jini.
Ya kuma baiwa mutane aikin duban hawan jini akai-akai, inda ya kara da cewa hawan jini shine babban abin da ke haifar da bugun jini.
“Idan kuna da hauhawar jini, ku sha magungunan ku akai-akai kuma ku shiga salon rayuwa mai kyau kamar motsa jiki na motsa jiki, daina shan taba da shan barasa,” in ji shi.
