Group inaugurates feedback campaign in support of Osinbajo

Osinbajo Vanguard, an NGO, launched its Feedback campaign in local dialects in 350 ethnic groups in Nigeria on Saturday, in support of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

Mr. Joseph Abamezele, Director of Media and Public Relations of the organization, made this known in his speech at the ceremony in Abuja.

The event was organized in collaboration with The Progressive Project (TPP) and the Progressive Consolidation Group (PCG), which included volunteers who probed Osinbajo’s presidential ambition.

According to him, the feedback is in the quest of organizations to find a leader who will consolidate the achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

Feedback is labeled “Osinbajo welcome.”

Abamezele, however, pointed out that it was a survey conducted in more than 350 ethnic groups in Nigeria and the result represented the views of Nigerians in Osinbajo.

“We know the politicians and we know that they have been claiming that people are asking them to run; people here speak to us in their local dialect and don’t want to be impersonated.

“We cannot allow people to mistake us for self-styled political agents. We are true volunteers who bring the message of true Nigerians.

“The feedback we have received and are receiving from the more than 350 ethnic groups in Nigeria has further confirmed that Osinbajo is loved, trustworthy and possesses the necessary skills in modern Nigeria.”

He explained that the organization carried out the feedback in a way where its trust and hope in Osinbajo, saying that the expressions informed the official inauguration of the feedback.

“Nigerians who speak to us in their mother tongue are a beauty to behold; They wonder why Osinbajo has not yet yielded to the popular call to run for president in 2023 and they have asked us to bring their voices as well.

“For the first time in recent history, people of diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds are speaking with one voice in various dialects, demanding for Osinbajo because he has shown good leadership qualities in various capacities.

“Especially in areas of assisting the president in his quest to alleviate poverty among Nigerians, such as Npower, direct cash transfer, ease of business, and ability to mediate labor disputes whenever Nigerians wanted.

“His integrity, intelligence, composure, dependability, calm, technocratic and sense of justice are unrivaled.

“We want to take this opportunity to plead for the understanding of others, who are also eminently qualified and interested in the 2023 presidency, to grant such an interest to the Nigerian people,” he added.

The director noted that Osinbajo’s ambition was the result of calls from Nigerians and not himself, adding that, like any other Nigerian, he had no choice but to listen to their calls for attention.

However, he reaffirmed the commitment of TPP / PCG to the promotion of the country’s ethnic groups in local dialects, so that Osinbajo runs for the presidency in 2023.

The director, however, denied the rumor circulating that Osinbajo had since opened a campaign office in Abuja for his presidential ambition.
