SP Ebere Amaraizu, the National Coordinator of Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV), has called for a multi-stakeholders’ collaboration to tackle cultism and other related vices among youths.
Amaraizu made the call in a statement made available to the Nigeria News Agency in Enugu on Wednesday.
He noted that there was a need to have an inter-agency collaboration and support in the ongoing fight against cultism and other vices.
According to him, campus cultism and other vices are dangerous to the socio-existence, growth and development of society.
Amaraizu, who is also the Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, said: “It is an ill wind that blows nobody any good.
“Hence, there is a need for partnership and effective collaboration with all stakeholders in line with the community-oriented policing tenets to reduce the menace and incidences.’’
