As per wetin the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Information and Communications, Dr. Honour Sirawoo talk on Monday, October 13, 2025, Anabraba go swear in today by 4:00 p.m. sharp for Government House, Port Harcourt. E be like say na serious matter wey dem dey run for dis new administration.
To spice things up, Anabraba no be just any politician; him get plenty experience for area. Before now, him don serve as the Minority Leader of the Rivers State House of Assembly and represent Akuku-Toru Constituency II. So, e sure say him go use all that experience wella as the new SSG.
This appointment dey come after plenty gbedu for Rivers State, as we sabi say President Bola Ahmed Tinubu don declare state of emergency for the state last year. Fubara and im deputy been dey suspended as political wahala dey reign for the whole area. But now na new face and new hope for better governance!
When e catch fire during the emergency, dem put retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas as Sole Administrator to handle things, cutting off Fubara’s commissioners and advisers. But now wey the emergency don lift up since September 18, 2025, plenty people dey wonder wetin go happen to dem wey no get position again. So, as Fubara don appoint Anabraba, e show say him dey move forward with plans to reorganize im government.
Hon. Anabraba go take over from Dr. Tammy Danagogo, wey serve as SSG during Governor Wike tenure and for the first two years of Fubara’s administration.
