Speaking before the French National Assembly, Borne expressed concern about the low rate of booster vaccination among those considered to be at high risk from the virus, warning that COVID-19 “still kills”.
Only 10 percent of people in the high-risk category have received a booster shot, he said.

“The COVID epidemic is starting again,” he told French deputies, with a nearly 10 percent increase in hospitalizations in one week, a 22 percent increase in intensive care hospitalizations and 400 COVID deaths. -19 last week.
