Former PDP Deputy Chairman Accuses APC of Plot to Eliminate Lagos LP gubernatorial candidate
Chief Bode George, a former National Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of plotting to eliminate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, the Labour Party (LP) gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State.

George, who is the leader of the socio-political group Omo Eko Pataki, endorsed Rhodes-Vivour’s candidacy and warned that harm should not come to him, as his rising popularity is seen as a threat to the APC.

George also accused the APC of playing divisive politics and using threats to force non-Lagosians to vote for the incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The group called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure the use of a transparent, technology-based voting system in the upcoming election.
