This one no be joke, as news dey fly for social media with video wey get thick smoke dey cover the building like say na Halloween party!
People wey waka pass dey panic, some even dey think say dem fit jump comot from the building (abeg, no be movie!). E reach as some people dey rescue others wey dey inside the building with ladder. Na so fear don scatter everywhere. People dey gather for front of the building like say na waiting for chieftaincy title dey happen!
According to statement wey Deputy Controller General, Ogabi Olajide, drop from Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, dem dey battle the fire since around 1:38 PM. Fire fighters from Ebute Elefun Fire Station and Sari Iganmu Fire Station don show face as dem dey fight the blaze wey start from inverter room for basement before e spread pass different floors. Omo, nobody wan see that level of fire!
Dem talk say dem dey evacuate all the people wey still dey the building, while firefighting action don begin to calm the situation down before the fire fighters land. As e be now, no official casualty don show face, but make we keep our fingers crossed (na wetin we fit do!).
