FIFA Don Clear Agu Make Him Debut For Super Eagles For Unity Cup!

Lagos, Nigeria – The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) don announce say Felix Nnaemeka Agu fit finally play for Super Eagles after FIFA give am clearance. The news, reported by OwnGoalNigeria.com, come as good confirmation for the defender wey dey play for Werder Bremen.

Agu, wey don dey age 25, enter the Super Eagles squad for the Unity Cup but no fit train with dem before this confirmation. Dis na because he don play for Germany U21 level twice back in 2019 without proper clearance from FIFA to switch to Nigeria.

According to the NFF, dem confirm sey dem dey wait for written clearance from FIFA to fit allow Agu dey play. After German FA confirm sey Agu no represent dem for any competitive games, FIFA don finally give NFF di green light.

Now, Agu go join di team as dem dey prepare for their first game against Ghana for di Unity Cup on the 28th of May. He go also fit play for di friendly match against Russia wey dey come up for June.

This clarity on Agu’s eligibility come as good news for di NFF as dem dey try to strengthen di team ahead of di 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Agu’s addition fit help improve di defense as Nigeria dey look forward to better performance in upcoming tournaments.
