Eritrea: Training in Administration and Finance

  The branch of the National Union of Eritrean Women in the South Region organized a management and finance training program for 37 women from the 12 sub areas of the region The training covered the concept of administration administration and its importance the role of communication in administration as well as material and financial management The objective of the training was to develop the capacity of the members who are dedicated to the administration and finance sector and enable them to provide a timely and effective service to the public Speaking at the closing event of the training Ms Senait Afwerki head of the union section in the region urged the participants to apply the training they received to efficiently serve the public Ms Tekea Tesfamicael President of the Eritrean National Women s Union for her part said that the program is an integral part of the union s mission to develop the overall capacity of members and called on the trainees to become exemplary in their areas and work in cooperation with the Government and public institutions At the event the evaluation of the six month activity was discussed as well as the future program
