Adebulehin said the Fund would train more young Nigerians in the area of ​​transition gas technology to recognize the gas decade that was Nigeria’s transition piece.

“Our gas technology development will be at the forefront of our capacity development program, we will redesign various programs that will use more of our gas.

“The relevant government agencies and the private sector in the oil and gas sector are recognizing our peculiarity in terms of energy need in this part of the world.

“Programs should be undertaken that match the speed at which we are moving in terms of energy transition,” he said.

According to him, PTDF provides training for Nigerians so that they can qualify as graduates, professionals, technicians and craftsmen in the field of engineering, geology, science and management in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria and abroad. .

Commenting on his scholarship scheme, Adebulehin said that the scheme had been transparent in its supervised and local scholarships, adding that it has different criteria that ensure geopolitical representation.

According to him, thousands of Nigerians have benefited from the scheme that includes masters, doctorates and different categories since its inception in the last 20 years.

“PTDF focuses on capacity and capacity building in the industry through human capacity building, institutional capacity building, as well as promoting research and acquisition of relevant technologies.”
