Him nearest challenger, Azuka Okwuosa from APC, come dey far behind with just 19,847 votes, like say e dey play catch-up.
As dem dey count the votes, wey no suppose pass wine glass for party, Mr. Donald Amangbo from African Democratic Congress (ADC) sight come up in third place with only 2,889 votes. People go dey wonder if dem no dey share the votes well or if na only Nwachukwu name wey dem collect inside the agbada too.
Professor Frank Ojiako, wey be the Returning Officer, come yan say, “I hereby make the declaration that Emmanuel Nwachukwu of APGA, having satisfied the requirements of the law, is hereby declared the winner and returned elected.” Na him dey do the gisting for Nnewi INEC office, and e dey sweet as the crowd dey bust everywhere with celebration.
