Electricity Workers Don Strike, Na Blackout Be Next Level

Lagos, Nigeria – Na serious wahala dey ground as the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) don send one strong warning to all dem electricity workers. Dem don begin strike wey fit carry power supply go zero, as dem vex for Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) wey no gree solve their problems since like forever.

This drama start for Wednesday, when the acting General Secretary of NUEE, Dominic Igwebike, drop ogbonge letter wey talk say enough is enough! Dem don give TCN enough time to respond to their demands, but na only wahala dem dey see. The issues wey dey vex dem include non-implementation of national minimum wage, casualisation of workers, and the sufferhead wey workers dey face for lack of working tools and materials.

NUEE no dey carry last, dem don finally pull the plug! Dem talk say, ‘We no go fold our hands while our rights dey violated and the Nigeria Electricity Supply Industry (NESI) dey waka down the drain.’ (Na only God go fit explain wetin dem mean by that!)

According to the union, dem members need to withdraw services until TCN management gree perform wetin dem suppose do.
