Dublin Park Toilets Wit Fire, Vandalism Dem Go Close Am

Dublin, Ireland — Public toilets wey dey located for Tyrrelstown Park don close down after dem face serious vandalism and fire attacks. Dem latest fire incident happen just two weeks after di toilets bin reinstall.

According to Fingal County Council, dem need to take dis decision for safety reason. Di spokesperson talk say, “Di Tyrrelstown Park ECO toilet wey don suffer serious fire damage last week, na wetin we just install around two weeks ago. Na to replace di previous ECO toilet wey burn down.”

Di Council explain say dem no fit allow di toilet to remain open due to di repeated attacks from vandals. “Unfortunately, because of di violence and fire attacks wey don happen multiple times for di past months, we no get option but to close and remove di damaged toilet as we dey figure out wetin to do next,” di spokesperson add.

Di situation don spark anger among politicians and di public. Emer Currie, wey be TD for Dublin West, express her disappointment, say, “Dis one no sweet. Na only taxpayers’ money dey go down di toilet here. We need more public toilets for di people wey dey use di park, while some just dey scheme to vandalise dem.”

Dem first vandalised di eco toilets for November last year. After repair, di Sinn Féin Councillor Breda Hanaphy don warn say dem go need to relocate di toilet if dem vandalise am again. “We don receive notice say di ECO toilet for Tyrellstown Park wey don suffer serious fire damage don fully repair now,” she talk at dat time. “Please note say if dem target di toilet again and di damage too much, di Council go consider moving di toilet go another location.”
