Draymond Green suffers hand injury in game against Lakers
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green suffered a hand injury during a game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.

He initially tried to continue playing but eventually had to leave for further treatment.

Green’s impact on the team goes beyond just his statistical production, as he is a key player in their defensive setup.

If he is unable to return to the game, Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody will see more playing time in the rotation, and Kevon Looney will play more minutes as the team’s most reliable interior presence outside of Green.
It is still unclear how serious the injury is, as Green is reportedly getting X-rays and may have to undergo an MRI.
The Warriors are already without Andrew Wiggins and have just welcomed back Stephen Curry from injury, so losing Green for an extended period would be a significant blow to the team.
However, Green returned to the game shortly after being reported as questionable and played with his left hand heavily taped.
