A determined team Qhubeka ASSOS ready to face the Tour of Flanders

After a good performance in the Flanders Classics which led to “De Ronde”, Team Qhubeka ASSOS ( will start Sunday with confidence and with the determination to go ahead.

The Italian and European Champion, Giacomo Nizzolo, who has been in scintillating form lately (4th in Brugge-De Panne, 2nd in Gent-Wevelgem and 15th in Dwars Door Vlaanderen) will be headlining again of our team but it is the in-depth strength of our classics team that will once again define our success in Sunday’s wear race.

Victor Campenaerts, Dimitri Claeys, Michael Gogl, Emil Vinjebo, Max Walscheid and Lukasz Wisniowski will complete our program which will face the Tour of Flanders.

We would like to thank longtime Dimitri Claeys’ fan and team supporter Arno Claeys for his help in announcing our team ( for the Tour of Flanders.

Michael gogl

I can’t wait for Sunday. It is (Tour of Flanders), in my opinion, the most incredible race on the calendar although it is one of the most difficult. After some health concerns during the last races, I finally feel 100% again and I am confident that I can have a good race. The team also looks really ready, the way we’ve raced in the last few classics has been awesome, so we’re going to go out there and do it together.

Dimitri Claeys

I had a big crash on Wednesday at Dwars Door Vlaanderen, but as a Belgian the opportunity to race De Ronde van Vlaanderen is a very special occasion. Despite the discomfort I am having, I will definitely give my 100% effort for the team on Sunday, and with strong and fit guys, I hope we can have a good race and get a great result.
