Umuahia, Abia State – Wahala no dey finish for Nigerian politics o! Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu don come out come drop heavy gist say APC no go use force to win election for Abia State in 2027. This one na serious matter wey fit make any paddy sit up, abi no be so?
Kalu carry this one come talk on Sunday during the meeting wey dem do for Renewed Hope Partners plus other APC members. He clearly state say dem go use people’s votes take remove the ruling Labour Party from power. Na real grassroots movement wey dem dey plan o!
The man sabi wetin e dey talk, as e dey encourage Abia people, especially APC members, to collect their voter’s cards for the ongoing continuous voter registration. “This card wey una go collect na wetin go help us remove the current Abia government by 2027,” Kalu yarn.
He really make people know say them no go use federal government power, unlike wetin some people dey think. “We go use the votes of the masses,” him affirm. E fit sound sweet to the ears, but na the ground wey go determine if e go work. (Honestly, if votes fit solve all our problems, na only heaven we go dey go!)
Kalu no keep quiet, as e lash the Labour Party government wey dey lead Abia. E talk say two former governors, Theodore Orji and Okezie Ikpeazu, perform better with just small FAAC allocation of about 3 and 4 billion Naira monthly, compared to the bigger money wey the current government dey chop. Abeg, make we reason am, wetin dem don really do with all that allocation? (We fit call am Abuja miracle but e no go hold water!)
Kalu still carry mouth talk say Abia people dey ready to re-elect President Bola Tinubu for 2027 because of him achievements plus the cash wey him dey give to Abia and other governors. Na wa o, this one fit turn to vote for pocket matter o!
Some persons no too happy with Kalu for wetin e talk about the Abia government. Dem dey throw insult upandan, but Kalu don vow say e no go stop to dey play the role of “the leader of the opposition in the State.” (I guess dem dey call am firebrand, but e suppose check as im dey play with fire!)
