Dele Momodu Don Jump PDP Ship, Talk Say Dem Don Hijack Am!

Benin City, Edo State – Veteran journalist and former presidential aspirant, Dele Momodu, don clear his throat and finally resign from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on July 17, 2025. Na him own letter wey he send to the PDP Ward 4 Chairman go show say e no wan do again with the party.

In the letter, wey na small but ginger-filled talk, Momodu don talk say e dey exit because dem don hijack the party by wetin e call “antidemocratic forces.” (E be like say some people don take over the wheel wey no suppose be dem own, abi? )

Momodu no dey play as e specify say his decision dey effective immediately. According to am, e be like say PDP don turn to rubbish wey dey smell for the sight of people wey no fit run the show right.

“My reason dey simple and straight. Our party don dey follow wrong people, from inside and outside. Dem dey scatter the house wey we build together,” im talk for the letter. E no stop there, as e describe PDP as “carcass,” meaning say na only shadow remain for where party suppose dey stand strong. Na wah!

As e dey talk, e no forget to appreciate the party members wey stand by am during guber race for the 2023 presidential ticket. Momodu don make am clear say e go forever treasure their support — which na better way to say thank you, abi?

Dis resignation no be only una thing wey dey happen for PDP o! Plenty members don dey waka comot because dem dey complain say some people dey impose their will on everybody and dey kill the little democracy wey dey remain.

Na so we go see how dem go fit survive dis wahala wey don land on top dem head. Remain still, as more news dey drop from dis political soap opera – na dem sabi!
