Lagos, Nigeria – No time to waste, my people! The Dangote Petroleum Refinery don declare wetin dem fit do to make sure say fuel no go scarce this festive period. Dem drop the gist for public eye on October 31, 2025, to put us for the right mood for Christmas. As e be, everybody go fit vibez without fuel wahala!
Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer for Dangote Industries, dey shout say dem dey load over 45 million litres of petrol (wey dem dey call Premium Motor Spirit, PMS) and 25 million litres of diesel daily! Make una hear word. Na so dem dey do better work wey go fit secure our fuel needs as we dey enter ember months.
Chiejina talk say this output dey go above wetin Nigerians dey consume. This one fit wey prevent fuel scarcity wey dey always wind us during festive periods (abeg, we fit reminisce those long queues!). No be so much magic for market, as the refinery dey help stabilize prices too. From N1,030 wey petrol dey cost last year, now na about N841–N851 per litre. E mean say our pocket go still dey okay whilst we dey enjoy Christmas.
Chiejina don talk more wetin dey craze sense on the new government tariff policy wey dey protect local industries. He call am “transformative” and give major kudos to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, say na him get foresight to do this kind business-friendly policy. If dem no protect we own, foreign producers go come dey flood our market with cheap products wey no dey even meet standard. Na this kind “dumping” wey fit scatter market and create poverty for our people.
But no be only talk dem dey talk, oo. Chiejina dey shine light on how the refinery dey help strengthen our economy; e dey reduce dollar wahala and also dey boost naira. If we fit hold our local production down, na so we go fit make better moves and stop dey rely on other nations’ products.
The refinery dey gist say their operations dey go beyond any local supply wey dey miss the point. As e dey be, if dem produce plenty, no be only we go dey happy, our economy go shine bright like Lagos nightlife!
But as we dey gear up for this robust production, Chiejina dey talk say make people wey dey steal or dey do shady business fit re-align their plans to fit better governance wey dey happen now. He say e go dey unpatriotic to criticize the new tariff, wey suppose help local patrons and boost the economy.
Finally, Aliko Dangote, wey be the big boss for Dangote Industries, don assure us say fuel price no go increase through the festive period. E sweet my body, because Christmas wey no mean fuel anxiety na the kind festive we all dey dream of! Una hear am, na pure joy dey enter this yuletide season, make we gather for celebration no matter where we dey.
