2 The police charged Salisu Ibrahim, and Izzadin Ahmed, who reside in Gwammaja Quarters in Kano with three counts of criminal conspiracy, criminal intimidation and mischief.
3 The presiding judge, Malam Nura Yusuf-Ahmad, adjourned the matter until Oct. 17.
Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Mr Aliyu Abideen informed the court that the defendants committed the offence on Sept.12 at Gwammaja Quarters, Kano.

5 The defendants, he said, also stoned and destroyed the glass window of the complainant’s house.
6 The first defendant, Ibrahim pleaded guilty to the charge, adding that the politician refused to fulfil the promises he made to him.
7 The second defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge.
8 The prosecution said the offence contravened the provisions of sections 120, 227 and 363 of Kano State Shari’a Law.
