460 people tested positive, out of a sample of 2,753 people. The positivity rate is 16.7%. The total number of confirmed positive cases is now 139,448. Cumulative testing to date is 1,520,390.

  • 40-49 years (98),
  • 50-59 years old (73),
  • 60 and over (81).

Cumulative deaths by age;

  • 0-9 years (45),
  • 10-19 years (17),
  • 20 to 29 (91),
  • 30-39 years old (199),
  • 40-49 years old (312),
  • 50-59 years (495),
  • 60 years and over (1,062).

Distribution of counties;

  • Nairobi 295,
  • Kitui 62,
  • Machakos 29,
  • Kiambu 28,
  • Nyeri 12,
  • Nakuru 12,
  • Kajiado 9, Kilifi 4,
  • Mandera 3,

RECOVERIES:

178 patients recovered from the disease, 99 from health facilities and 79 from home care and isolation. Total recoveries now stand at 94,361.

DEATH:
20 deaths have been reported, (1) in the last 24 hours, 10 in the last month and 9 are late death reports from facility registry audits. The cumulative number of deaths is 2,244.

ADMISSIONS:
1,590 patients are currently admitted to various health facilities across the country, 5,998 patients are in isolation and in home care. 200 patients are in intensive care, 40 in ventilatory assistance and 130 in supplemental oxygen. 30 patients are under observation. 240 patients receive supplementary oxygen separately, including 223 in general services and 17 in the high dependency unit.
