Chris Rock Finally Talks About Will Smith in Selective Outrage

Chris Rock’s new stand-up special, Selective Outrage, was broadcast live on Netflix.

The show, which had rumoured to include a response to Will Smith’s slap from their interaction during the 2016 Academy Awards which went viral online, did not address it until the final 10 minutes of the program.

Rock discussed the strangeness of Smith’s relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith prior to his Oscar win and stated that their marital problems were likely the catalyst for Smith’s anger.

The audience was reminded that Rock is a skilled comedian and possessed a natural ability to improvise on stage.

However, the majority of the show was spent on more general observations and did not reach the heights of his earlier specials.
