Lagos, Nigeria – Dem say life no get replica, and true true, we just dey feel am for the football world as we lose one of our own, Tendai Ndoro. This one nah serious wahala, my people. The CAF President, Dr. Patrice Motsepe, don show him feelings as he send him condolences go the family of Ndoro and everybody wey dey into Zimbabwe football. Na wetin happen on Monday, 18 August 2025, as Ndoro, wey don represent Zimbabwe National Team 14 times, pass away.
Ndoro no dey here again abeg! E play for Chicken Inn for hin original country, and e also beg for different South African clubs like Mpumalanga Black Aces, Highlands Park, Ajax Cape Town and Orlando Pirates – yes o, a legend in football di konekt! This guy really sabi the game no be small, and na im make am dey popular for Africa.
As we dey talk, Nqobile Magwizi, who be President of Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA), na him dey lead the charge as dem dey gather together to mourn the fallen star. E no easy at all as the entire football family dey taste this bitter loss together. E be like say dem no go fit replace this kind player just like that (like try put toothpaste back for tube).
Dr. Motsepe no just drop statement, e show say gbola talk wey go carry weight. E remind us say football no be just game but community wey dey link everybody together, and when one person fall, everybody dey feel am. Na so life be, my padi!
We need to remember the good times wey Ndoro give us – the goals, the hustle and that smile wey always dey face football wahala. May hin soul rest in peace as we go carry hin memory waka with us. So, make we all gather don drink small palm wine for Ndoro as we celebrate the life wey e live. Omo, Naija and Zimbabwe, no be same family? Rest easy, Tendai!
