Dis move na part of CAC plan to clean up Nigeria corporate register and make sure say only companies wey dey play by di rules go dey shine for di register. Dem drop public notice wey clearly state say affected companies suppose use di next 90 days to regularise their status, or else, dem go just vanish like magic (and we know how Nigerian magic be, e fit shock you!).

Dem say, “It dey illegal for any company wey dem don strike off register to dey operate o!” If company no comply? Na Federal High Court go need to intervene to revive am – that means, if you no fit follow di rules, better no forget your own business na!
Companies wey dey involved don get flagged as either inactive or dey just dey chill since ten years wey dem no send their annual returns or even talk about their Persons with Significant Control (PSC). Time for companies to wake up dey rush file returns, because if dem miss am, dem go still dey feel di heat.
