Bradford City AFC don announce the signing of Northern Ireland international, Corry Evans, on a short-term deal till January 2025. Evans, wey be 34 years old, join the Bantams after he leave Championship side Sunderland in the summer.

Evans, wey born in Belfast, spend four years for Manchester United’s academy before he move to other clubs like Hull City and Blackburn Rovers. He play more than 200 times for Blackburn Rovers and win 72 caps for Northern Ireland.

Bradford City manager, Graham Alexander, express his delight over the signing. “We’re bringing Corry in on a short-term deal to help us with his experience and quality,” Alexander tell the club’s website. “He’s another option in the midfield that can compliment the personnel we already have in there.”

Evans himself also show his excitement to join the club. “I’m absolutely thrilled to join Bradford City. It’s a massive club with a passionate fanbase, and I can’t wait to get started,” he say.

Bradford City, wey currently dey 14th position in League Two, hope say Evans’ experience go help them improve their performance in the league.
