Bauchi, Nigeria – E be like say some people no sabi say crime no dey pay again o! Na so the Bauchi State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) catch two suspects wey dem accuse say dem steal 600 litres of diesel meant for MTN mast generator. Na wah!
The spokesperson for the command, Saminu Yusuf, come drop the gist on Saturday as he talk say these guys, wey be 20-year-old Abdulrahman Jibrin and 31-year-old Munarak Halilu, don dey do this kain stealing for almost a year! E be like dem forget say goment dey watch everybody.
According to Saminu, di guys don already confess say na dem dey siphon diesel from the site wey dey for Sabon Kasuwa–Railway area. I mean, how dem no go catch dem when dem dey carry away dis kain serious amount of fuel? (Maybe na because dem dey use small jerry cans, who knows?).
As dem catch dem, Saminu yan say dem go face di law properly once dem finish di investigation. E be like say no be only diesel thieves wey dey worry dem. Oloyede Nelson Oyerinde, di State Commandant, come give commendation to im boys say dem dey always dey alert to protect public infrastructure. Him also warn say, “If you dey do illegal things, just know say law go catch you!”
Meanwhile, na so dem for Ebonyi State also dey do their own work well. Dem don foil armed robbery attack wey happen for Ehamufu–Nkalagu Road on 12th November. Di operatives rescue one Ali Solomon from three armed robbers wey wan take him motorcycle. But when di robbers see police, dem run like say dem dey chase chicken in di market! (No be small scared!).
As dem run, police come fire back and neutralise one of di hoodlums. E be like say these guys no dey reason oh! How far dem think say dem go fit run in dis current arrangement? Dem no think am well at all.
On top another matter, for 13th November, one kidnapping syndicate wey dey terrorise Ezzangbo area don carry one Obasi ThankGod go hide. Dem tie di guy for hotel toilet and demand 5 million naira! But thanks to diligent intel, di operatives trace di kidnappers hideout and rescue di guy. Na so dem catch three suspects – Uchenna, Ebuka, and Chizoba. Again, police dey sharp like light!
Di Commissioner of Police, Adaku Uche-Anya, don commended di operatives for their hard work and remind dem say dem dey here to protect di people. She even pinky-promise say di criminals no go find place to hide again for di state. As dem dey do am like dis, e clear say goment dey serious for Buhari’s time!
