BILBAO, Spain – Barcelona wrapped up their La Liga season in style, defeating Athletic Bilbao 3-0 at San Mamés on May 25, 2025. The victory highlighted a brilliant campaign for the Blaugrana, who finished as champions with 88 points, ahead of rivals Real Madrid by four points.

In a last twist, a VAR review awarded Barcelona a penalty after Dani Olmo was fouled in the box. Olmo stepped up and converted the penalty, sealing the victory in stoppage time.
