Barcelona, Spain – Dem don set to battle again as Barcelona dey prepare to face off against Getafe this Sunday for the Estadi Johan Cruyff. After strong performance wey dem show for Champions League against Newcastle, the Catalans dey look for another victory to maintain their unbeaten run this season.
Marcus Rashford, wey don shine like diamond last match, netted two goals for dem against Newcastle. But dem go miss their star boy Lamine Yamal again as him still dey recover from injury. This one na bad news, but as dem say, when one door close, another one go open. Who know, maybe na time for Rashford to flex him goals scoring muscle again.
Last week, Barcelona burst Valencia 6-0 for the same venue, so dem dey expect crowd go gather again even if na just 6,000 capacity. But e be like say dem fans no go mind as long as dem see good football. Dem still dey wait for construction wey go bring dem back to the full capacity of Camp Nou, but for now, Estadi Johan Cruyff go serve as their mini home.
On the other side, Getafe dey come with their own package as dem don win three out of dem last four matches. José Bordalás, their coach, don prepare dem like fine jollof rice, and him go plan to frustrate the Catalans with that common five-at-the-back style wey we sabi dem for town. If Barcelona no careful, dem fit come out with just a point.
As we dey talk now, injuries don pile up for both sides, with Gavi, ter Stegen, and a few others sidelined for Barcelona. Getafe too don get their own share of wahala, with some players like Juanmi carry small injury on top head. But dem no go allow dis one shake dem, as dem dey come with confidence wey fit shock anybody.
When dem finally step onto the pitch, expect plenty drama as Getafe go try spoil the game with dem annoying tactics (you sabi wetin I mean?). But for Barcelona, e go be about three points, no matter how e take happen. If dem fit handle the pressure wey dey from the fans and the need for results, we fit sabi say dem go get the win.
Make we sit down, sip our palm wine, and enjoy as dem start dey run around that pitch on Sunday. Who know, maybe we go see some magic from Rashford and the boys!
