Avril Lavigne & Tyga rumored dating, but she is happily engaged
Recently, Avril Lavigne and Tyga caused speculation that they were dating after they were spotted in LA.
Fans posted on Twitter in wonderment to the seemingly weird pairing.
Pictures were posted of the two rolling up to an upscale Japanese restaurant, Nobu, where they enjoyed a meal.
However, Lavigne is currently in a relationship with singer and rapper Mod Sun which she revealed in 2021.
The two met while in the studio to record a song and went public with their relationship soon after.
The couple later made an appearance on the red carpet of the MTV Video Music Awards and he proposed in Paris the following year.
Reports later surfaced that they attended a Grammys party together just last month.
Tyga seems to be single, or at least not linked with anyone.
His past relationships include Kylie Jenner, Blac Chyna (with whom he has a son) and Iggy Azalea.
His relationship with Lavigne appears to be just friendly, keeping the fans speculating.
Although it was an unlikely pairing, it seems the Canadian rockstar and the Californian rapper just get along as friends.
