Assistant Director-General for Communication and Information expresses his condolences to the families of victims of a road accident in Tanzania that included journalists
I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the families of the victims of this tragic incident.

The Deputy Director General for Communication and Information expresses his sincere condolences for the six journalists and eight others killed in a traffic accident in Simiyu, Tanzania, on Tuesday 11 January.
The journalists whose lives have been lost are Husna Mlanzi (ITV, IPP Media), Johari Shani (Uhuru Digital), Anthony Chuwa (Freelance), Abel Ngapenda (Information Officer, Mwanza Regional Commissioner’s Office), Steven Msengi (Information Officer, Information, Ukerewe District Town Hall) and Paul Silanga, his driver. The group was traveling to Bunda for work when their vehicle collided with a utility vehicle.
