Archbishop Emmanuel Chukwuma of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion,  has urged mothers to always be grateful to God for His benefits in their lives.

Chukwuma gave the advice during his  homily at  the Emmanuel  Anglican Church at  Achara Layout in  Enugu on Sunday.

He said that the benefits of God include:  His mercies, forgiveness of sins, safe delivery by mothers  at child birth, good health, and  redemption from destruction.

He added that living uprightly attracted God’s blessings and mercies.

The archbishop stressed that holiness, humility, sincerity, and obedience are what were expected of every Christian mother.

He called on mothers to obey their husbands and bring up their children in the way of God for them to serve God and humanity genuinely throughout their lives.

Chukwuma, therefore, urged Christians to always live a righteous life and shun sins.
