Amy Childs Recalls Scary Moment During the Birth of Twins

Reality TV star Amy Childs recently shared details of the challenging moment she experienced during the birth of her newborn twins – Billy and Amelia – last month. The mum-of-four went through an emergency C-section in order to welcome her babies into the world with partner Billy Delbosq.

While Amy had a birth plan, things didn’t go according to plan because baby Billy suffered a prolapsed umbilical cord. This is a rare occurrence, but Amy remembers how the midwife saw the cord and acted quickly. After the birth, baby Billy was taken to the neonatal unit.

Amy continued to recall taking turns with her partner to see baby Billy in the unit, adding that it was “really sad” at that time. However, she remains a positive person and focuses on the positives, one of which is that everyone is now fine.

In her interview with OK! magazine, Amy also gushed about her six-week-old twins, describing how they look completely different yet are both really good babies.

Aside from welcoming her twins, Amy also recently got engaged to her partner Billy. He popped the question just days after the birth in the sweetest way possible during a photoshoot for their new reality TV show. Amy announced the news on Instagram and shared a montage of photos from the engagement, including a snap of their twins wearing onesies that read, “Mummy, will you marry my daddy?”

Amy and Billy started dating in 2021 after her split from ex-boyfriend Tim, with whom she had a 14-month long relationship.
