Aiteo Cup: Super Falcons forward stars in win over Edo Queens 

1 Super Falcons of Nigeria forward, Monday Gift, scored a spectacular goal to help FC Robo Queens of Lagos booked a place in the next round of the 2022 Aiteo Cup competition after a 2-0 victory over Edo Queens of Benin.

2 Gift scored the goal with just few seconds into the match to draw applause from the spectators at the Kwara Stadium Complex, Ilorin, on Thursday.

3 The Lagos based side got the match underway and had one of its defenders sent a long ball towards Gift who wasted no time and spinned the ball over incoming Edo Queens goalkeeper.

4 The Super Falcons player was a star to watch as she lord her experience on the match helping FC Robo to keep possession for most part of the encounter.

5 Taiwo Lawal scored the other goal in the 35th minute in a superb way to put the game beyond Edo Queens and zoomed to the quarter finals of the competition.
