African Leadership magazine’s People of the Year Awards, the continent’s leading third-party endorsement based on votes, has continued to attract interest from Africans within and in the diaspora.

The president of the African Leadership Organization, in his comment, said that “the presentation of the winners of the People of the Year from the African Leadership Magazine has become part of the organization’s New Years practice that a large number of Africans are waiting “. He continued, he maintained that “this year’s nominees and eventual winners, as in previous years, are deserving of these coveted awards because they have all contributed to making the continent a better place.”

In his words, “These nominees have shown great faith in the Africa project and are ‘doing what they say’ in their communities, helping to change negative narratives about Africa globally. They are all true lovers of Africa, contributing with determination, sometimes in the midst of challenging circumstances, but certainly to make Africa and the world a better place for all. ”

The African Leadership Magazine Persons of the Year, now in its 10th year, is an annual award reserved for distinguished Africans who have led the way in the year under review. A short list of nominees is selected from the results collected through a Call for Nomination, traditionally promoted through paid online and offline campaigns across the continent, Europe, and the Americas. The call for applications is the first step in a multi-stage process.
