Afghanistan Earthquake: Over 1,400 die, Rescue Search Dey On!

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Na wah, this one no be small matter. Last Sunday night, one earthquake wey get 6.0 magnitude shake eastern Afghanistan like say dem wan make dem dance zanku. As e stand, the death toll don hit over 1,411 people, and more than 3,124 folks don waka go hospital, as dem dey injured from the quake, according to wahala report from government spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid.

Meanwhile, after all this wahala, the focus now na how to rescue survivors wey dey trapped. Helicopters don enter the scene to carry people from remote villages, but wetin happen? As we dey watch the situation unfold, one survivor named Bas Marjana share her experience say “We were all in deep, peaceful sleep when… a sudden tremor struck, and the world turned upside down.” Na so e be!
