“That on the same day of March 11, 2021, the plaintiff obtained an injunction from the Jiwa District Court 3, Abuja presided over by: Ebiwari ED

“That said order ordered the defendant to invest the sum of N15,000 to the account number of the plaintiff mentioned above.

“That on March 12, 2021, when she presented said court order and requested the accused to comply with it, the accused flatly disobeyed the court order with impunity and without any legal support.

“That the respondent orally informed the claimant that although the claimed bank account had a sufficient amount to pay the claimant’s sum, that some other persons have a lien that preceded that of the claimant with respect to the funds in the previous bank account denounced.

“That the respondent did not provide the plaintiff with any documentary evidence to substantiate her existing prior claim claim.”

Adeleke claimed that when all her arguments failed to persuade the (defendant) bank, she engaged the services of a lawyer.

He said that on two occasions guilty letters were written to the bank, “asking the accused to do what was necessary before legal action was initiated, but all efforts fell on deaf ears.”

He said that the law firm AS Ugwuanyi & Partners was instructed to process this lawsuit and the sum of ₦500,000 was paid as professional fees and a receipt dated March 16, 2021 was issued.

“That I have suffered many expenses in accommodation and fees as I am not a resident of Abuja and had to travel to and from Lagos State from the 11th day of March 2021 to date, making a great effort to rectify this problem that the defendant has done impossible.
