Adelaide beat Port Adelaide in the Showdown with a score of 18.9 (117) to 13.8 (86). Port Adelaide led for most of the game, but Adelaide scored seven goals in the fourth quarter. Adelaide was inaccurate during the first half but made a strong comeback later.
